About the Role
We're seeking an experienced European HSE Advisor to support large-scale data centre construction projects across multiple European locations. This is a rotation-based position, covering Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium initially, with potential to expand into other EU countries as projects progress.
The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across all worksites, supporting diverse project teams while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments across European project sites.
  • Implement and maintain safety management systems and safe systems of work.
  • Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.
  • Monitor compliance with Irish, EU, and local legislation and company policies.
  • Investigate incidents, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and performance data.
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice in all aspects of HSE management.
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients on safety matters.
  • Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance and audits.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Health, Safety & Environment role, ideally in construction, roofing, cladding, or data centre environments.
  • Recognised HSE qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
  • In-depth understanding of Irish and EU HSE legislation.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Proven ability to work independently across multiple sites and jurisdictions.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe on rotation.
