We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join a dynamic construction team based in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil and building construction projects.
  • Analyse project plans, specifications, and tender documents to determine material, labor, and time requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data for estimates.
  • Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Maintain and update cost databases and estimation records.
  • Monitor industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive and realistic estimates.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or civil engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost structures.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management are preferred.
