Our client is a premier provider of high-end metal and glass curtain walling, managing the full value chain from bespoke design and fabrication to onsite installation.
We are seeking an experienced
EHS Manager to join their innovative, fast-growing team. This is a pivotal, standalone role where you will take full ownership of the health and safety landscape across both a high-tech in-house factory and major construction projects.
The Role As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing the safety culture of the organization. You will collaborate closely with Senior Management and project stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities: - Safety Leadership: Assess, develop, and continuously improve safety statements, policies, and "Ways of Working".
- Site Management: Perform regular inspections and daily audits to evaluate on-site hazards and eliminate risks.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities meet current regulations and implement best practices in line with legislation.
- Training & Engagement: Communicate toolbox talks, carry out site inductions, and coordinate first aid and EHS training for staff and operatives.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Work with subcontractors to approve health and safety plans and coordinate activities with site management.
- Reporting: Inspect workplace accidents or complaints and provide monthly EHS metrics to the leadership team.
Candidate Profile We are looking for a motivated professional who can unite teams and encourage a shared pursuit of safety excellence.
Requirements: - Education: A third-level qualification in Health and Safety.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience, ideally within the construction or architectural design (curtain walling) sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, and Constructionline.
- Skills: Strong IT skills and excellent communication/negotiation abilities in English.
- Logistics: A full driver's license is essential for site visits.
Package & Benefits - Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Work Pattern: A balanced split of 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days conducting site visits.
