About the Opportunity
OCS Recruitment is partnering with a respected construction contractor to recruit an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor for Dublin-based project teams. This role offers the chance to be part of a safety-driven organisation involved in major commercial and delivery-focused construction programmes with high-profile clients.
 
 
Role Overview
As an Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor, you will support the EHS leadership in implementing and maintaining strong health, safety and environmental practices across active sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, embedding safety culture, and supporting project teams to deliver work safely and efficiently.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support development, implementation and maintenance of the site safety management system and safe systems of work.
  • Review and update project-specific EHS documentation, including site plans, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Provide technical guidance and advice to site teams on health, safety and environmental duties.
  • Coordinate and deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, audits and inspections.
  • Ensure risk assessments are completed and incidents are thoroughly investigated and reported.
  • Monitor compliance of contractors and stakeholders with EHS standards.
  • Maintain and support accurate documentation, reporting and filing systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of safety performance across projects.
Candidate Profile
  • Third-level qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a construction EHS role, ideally supporting large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • A self-starter who builds strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Full clean driver's licence preferred.
