About the Opportunity OCS Recruitment is partnering with a respected construction contractor to recruit an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor for Dublin-based project teams. This role offers the chance to be part of a safety-driven organisation involved in major commercial and delivery-focused construction programmes with high-profile clients.
Role Overview As an Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor, you will support the EHS leadership in implementing and maintaining strong health, safety and environmental practices across active sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, embedding safety culture, and supporting project teams to deliver work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities - Support development, implementation and maintenance of the site safety management system and safe systems of work.
- Review and update project-specific EHS documentation, including site plans, risk assessments and method statements.
- Provide technical guidance and advice to site teams on health, safety and environmental duties.
- Coordinate and deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, audits and inspections.
- Ensure risk assessments are completed and incidents are thoroughly investigated and reported.
- Monitor compliance of contractors and stakeholders with EHS standards.
- Maintain and support accurate documentation, reporting and filing systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of safety performance across projects.
Candidate Profile - Third-level qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a construction EHS role, ideally supporting large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- A self-starter who builds strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
- Full clean driver's licence preferred.
