Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to play a key role in the commercial success of high-profile construction projects across a range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare monthly, interim, and final valuations, applications for payment, and reconciliations of valuations and costs for contracts, sub-contractors, specialists, and suppliers.
- Provide accurate and timely information to support regular review of cash flow and contract positions.
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager to place sub-contracts on projects under your control.
- Conduct detailed examinations of contract documents and highlight any anomalies or risks.
- Prepare, submit, and agree interim and final valuation dates with client representatives.
- Produce detailed take-offs in collaboration with Estimating, Procurement, and Planning departments.
- Prepare and agree contract final accounts for each completed section of the works, including all adjustments.
- Maintain comprehensive records of any contractual delays and associated details.
- Manage, coach, and develop contract surveyors, assistant surveyors, and junior surveyors within your team.
Requirements - 10+ years' experience, ideally with a main contractor.
- Proven background in construction and/or civil engineering projects, including residential and commercial developments.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered Membership of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) or equivalent professional body.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong IT proficiency with a high level of attention to detail.
